Hello, my friends!

I'm coming to you from a cafe all the way out in the great Cleveland, Ohio. For those who aren't aware, I am currently on the third leg of a cross-US "tour" that runs from last week until May 3.

This adventure is both business and pleasure, combining artistic endeavours like live art, public speaking, and networking, with lots of beach time and naps. I can't imagine a better combo.

For more frequent updates to my goings-on, feel free to follow my Twitter or Instagram. Wondering where I'm at? Interested in having a live painter or speaker at your next event? Check the poster out below, and then contact me!

E3C Charity Art Drive

For the past four years I've had the pleasure of being involved with the East Coast Creative Collective ("E3C"). We're a little band of creatives who run monthly meetups and other special events in an effort to better foster Nova Scotia's thriving community.

One such event is our Annual Charity Art Drive, which just recently had its fourth go 'round this past Thursday. Every year we've gathered art supplies and cash for the kids of Saint Joseph A. McKay school in the north end of Halifax, and it's an event that's very dear to my heart - this was the elementary school that I went to.

At its inception four years ago, myself and the other E3C committee members were simply hoping for an event that would give us an opportunity to give back. We had no idea how much this event would catch on, or the extent to which our community would respond, or even if we would do it a second (let alone third or fourth time).

It was an absolute delight to drive down to the school today with Rob Cameron with ARMLOADS of gear for the kids as well as cash for their breakfast program. My apartment still smells like new crayons. My heart is full to bursting. For more information on this or any of our other events, you can check out our website, Twitter, or Facebook

Happy Holidays, my friends!
